Although we have been able to serve in Peru many times, this will be our first visit to partner with Missionary Rachel Tarvin in Cusco. Once the capital of the Inca Empire, Cusco is a city rich in history that lies in southeastern Peru in the Andes mountain range . Rachel has been a missionary here since 2008, since the Lord led her to teach in the seminary and children’s ministries of New Life Baptist Church. She assists in serving multiple church plants in rural areas as well. Rachel is part of a large missionary team that works together to reach Cusco and Urubamba with the gospel; we will be able to work alongside many veteran missionaries and their church volunteers in this special area.
