Staff Nurse[email protected]
My name is Bethany Berendsen. I grew up in a Christian home, hearing about the gospel and how Christ has come to die for our sins from a very young age. When I was around 4, I went through the plan of salvation with my dad and accepted Christ as my Savior; however when I was 12 I started to have doubts about my salvation when we studied the end times in youth group. God worked on my heart and helped me realize that I had not fully accepted him as my Savior. I again went to my dad and went through the plan of salvation and accepted Christ as my Savior and dedicated my life to Him. Without a doubt, I now know I am a child of the one true God. I have been a Registered Nurse for 13 years and have a wide range of nursing experience, including adult medicine and children’s medicine. I have a big passion for mental health in our current world and am wanting to use my personal experience through a mental health crisis to help others in their time of need and point them to Christ. I love that with Medical Missions Outreach, I can use my medical knowledge and gifts that the Lord has blessed me with to lead others to Christ. Going on these missions trips with MMO has completely changed my life for the better, and I am excited to see how the Lord will use me in the future.
