Medical Missions Outreach has had the privilege of calling this facility home since our grand opening in April 2022. The Lord provided us 18,000 square feet of office and storage space. We’re able to house all of our equipment, supplies, medications, glasses, and more within this facility. This space also allows us to host volunteers every week who come to help us in the eyeglass recycling program, log and organize donations, and even help pack for trips. We are so blessed to have such a beautiful, spacious place to call our headquarters.
Whether you are coming to volunteer for a few days, or just passing through the Atlanta area, we would love for you to stop by and visit with us. If you have never been here before, or if you like to try new things, we’ve compiled a list of food, coffee, hotels, and things to do in our area just for you. McDonough, GA is located in Henry County just south of Atlanta, and is one of the fastest growing areas in the country. Even though it’s growing, we still have the feel of a small town complete with the original town square design. McDonough was founded in 1823 and was named after naval officer Commodore Thomas Macdonough. McDonough is known for its Geranium Festival on the 3rd Saturday in May each year. In addition to the breathtaking flowers, the festival also showcases local artists, open-air markets, and live music.
