Welcome To Our Prep a Puppet Program

Thank you for partnering with MMO in our endeavor to get the gospel out to every patient that enters our clinics around the world. Your effort to collect medications helps to lighten our burden and bring help and healing to children in far away lands.

Here’s how this program works, and how you can make it successful:

1. Build excitement!
Whether it is a small group, Christian school, kids ministry, or neighborhood Bible club—share the vision, show the video (above), tell the stories! There are plenty of stories and pictures on our social media accounts that will help you get everyone excited about participating.

2. Distribute the puppets

Within each puppet is a shopping list that shares the medications that we need.  Medications may be purchased at several different retail locations including discount stores.  Let your group know that Dollar Tree, Wal-Mart, Big Lots, or other discount stores are great options. We do not need name brands. The date of expiration is very important. Please remind your team to check the expiration dates to ensure at least a 12 month shelf life.

3. Set a reasonable date to have everything returned.
Usually most groups need at least 2–3 weeks to make the purchases and return them to the group leader. If some of your group members bring in the supplies but forget the puppet, it’s ok! We have some extras on hand!

4. Get packing
To save space for shipping, you may empty the puppets of all supplies and organize the medications neatly to ship.  Use the puppets as padding around the medications.  Mail directly to MMO!

5. Take a picture
Take a picture of your group holding their puppets, shopping for supplies, praying over the gifts, even packing the box. Tag us on social media, email it to our office, or text it to our team. We want to see you in action and remember your kindness. Also, we want to send you pictures or tag you on social media when we use supplies on the field so your group can see their love in action!

6. Mail the box
Send all supplies to our home office in Atlanta. If you are local and would like to drop them off, please contact us to arrange a time. You can send it all to:

Medical Missions Outreach

7. Celebrate!

Celebrate the Gospel going forth and lives being changed. We can't wait to share stores with you of how God blessed your efforts. Let us know how this worked for your group. Did you have a unique way in which you launched the program? Did you seek other community partners for larger donations? Did you find parents or participants disappointed or frustrated by the list? Help us make the program better by giving us your suggestions.

Thank you again for participating. Your generosity and prayers help us to reach more children for Christ.

Keep in touch and God bless!
