"Will You Go?"

The idea of Medical Missions Outreach was born in 2003. Bradley and Kelly traveled and served on their first medical mission team in Satipo, Peru through an administrator they knew at Bullock County Hospital. The administrator had asked Kelly, "Will you go?" And the Edmondson's went. Two years later they planned and mobilized their first team of 28 friends and family to San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic to work with Missionary Doug Hodges. That same year, the Edmondsons realized their calling to full-time medical missions.

From Kelly:

"In the beginning, God created man in His image- a holistic being with physical, emotional, and spiritual needs... broken and destroyed by the fall.

When Christ came to redeem man, he never separated physical needs from spiritual healing. He instructed His disciples to preach the kingdom and heal the sick- often using touch or physical illustrations to provide spiritual life.

Modern missionaries continued using Christ’s own model for evangelism. People such as Dr. David Livingstone, Amy Carmichael, Hudson Taylor, and Mary Slessor fed, clothed, rescued, and touched physical bodies in an attempt to reach deep into their souls.

Medical Missions Outreach uses this same, Biblical model today."
