My wife and I began volunteering for MMO in 2014 on a trip to Honduras. We have since traveled with the group several times, and now I serve as the Dental Coordinator. Katy is a general dentist, and I manage our family’s dental practice in Virginia. Although God has placed me in the dental field, I have a deep passion for natural world. I have a BS in Marine Biology, a BS in Geology, a Master’s in Environmental Studies, and continue to study Malacology/Conchology (mollusks) and Entomology (insects) in my free time. Katy and I have three children, and we enjoy spending time with them fishing, gardening, and exploring God’s creation. I look forward to being used by God to keep MMO equipped with the necessary instruments and supplies. My calling is to help our dental volunteers use their gifts to serve God and share the gospel around the world.
