My Story

Growing up in a pastor’s home I was blessed to know many amazing missionaries. However, when I was younger, I must admit the mission field seemed so distant, so foreign. It was 2012 when I took my first mission trip to Guatemala, and my view of world-wide missions changed completely.

Since that experience in 2012, I have traveled to many countries and each time my passion for global missions has increased. I recognized how blessed I was to be exposed to the Gospel at an early age, to live in the United States, and to have parents that loved me and provided me with a sure foundation. I knew I wanted to give back because I had been given so much.

When I was introduced to Medical Missions Outreach, I knew God aligned our paths at the perfect time. I loved serving in church ministry for over ten years, but my passion to reach and help those in developing countries made MMO a perfect fit for me. I believe we are all called to serve those around us and to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. I see in the Bible some who were called to carry that message to other nations and even others who were called to share it with “the least of these” whether near or far.

As International Team Coordinator with MMO, I will have the opportunity to lead teams of volunteers that provide medical clinics and to oversee the building and maintenance of our permanent clinics. I will work with our partner missionaries to keep the local church closely connected to those we minister to through our clinics.

It is with great passion that I seek to live out God’s purpose for my life both locally and globally. I will admit, I need your help. In fact, as strongly as I believe in what God has called me to do, I also believe He has called you to further His Kingdom as well. 1 Corinthians 12 gives us an illustrative picture of the body of Christ. This imagery can be applied to the local church, but I believe it can also be applied to the work of Christ. We each have an important role to further the Gospel message.

I would like to invite you to partner with my family and me as we tell the world of the Great Physician. We need prayer and provision to complete the work God has called us to do. Would you partner with us? Financial donations can be received at the address below or here.
